The Ping G20 fairway wood is even better than I expected. Its low profile design makes it easy to hit good shots from the fairway. I had a G20 driver and 2 G20 hybrids which also are great clubs, but I needed a better 3 wood for those long shots from the fairway. I have always had trouble hitting a wood from the fairway, but with this club, no problem. I'm hitting it long and straight. It's like hitting a hybrid only it goes much farther. I still hit the occasional bad shot, but it isn't the club! I hit a lot more great shots with this one! I'm very satisfied with it and, on EBAY, I got it for half what I'd have paid at the pro shop.
I'm in love with this driver! I had a Calloway Razr Fit that I tried to live with for a very short time and it was a quick anulment. The Ping doesn't swing like many big headed drivers. It's buttery smooth and super forgiving too! It's funny but when the guys I'm playing with start spraying their drives with their R11's, Titeliest's and whatever else; I ask th to try my club just to reassure them that its not their swing. Several have since bought the G20 in the tfc169d tour stiff shaft. I've just added the G20 4 wood with the same shaft and am having good success with that too! I would reccomend this club to anyone with a decent swing as we all know no club will fix a bad swing.
I discovered something interesting about Ping fairway wood head covers. The ones made for the G20s are the best ever made, design wise and from a materials engineering standpoint. I have G25 woods (the G20 covers fit perfectly). The original G25 covers that came with my clubs were awful. They stretched out of shape and for some strange reason were a favorite of moths in the club bag room. They ate holes in the knitted part of the covers. I HATED THOSE COVERS! But then I found somebody's G20 cover left on a bench on hole number 7 at my home course. I noticed it was superior in manufacture and design. I turned the cover in to Lost and Found, but I went on line on my smartphone and ordered two new covers for the clubs in my bag from eBay. I'm extremely happy I made this discovery. And so far the moths haven't eaten my new head covers.Read full review

Great club for me, I'm a senior with slow swing speed (75-80 with driver) and this club works great for me. I have put all my other fairway woods in the closest. Try one, you will like it.

The pro at the Ping fitting facility told me I should only carry a 5 wood, but I just couldn't think about giving up the distance of my 3 wood, so I went with this 4 wood. 1st of all, I want to thank the ebayer who sold it to me - great price, great condition club! The club itself is kinda like a stepchild to me, though...just not as long as a 3, not as good a feel as a 5. Kind of just "in the middle". I hit it OK, it feels good, I just wish I had that extra 15-20 yards from a 3 wood. I'm playing a G20 driver, and I like the idea of being consistent between clubs, so now I'm wrestling with picking up a G25 5 wood or looking for a G20 3 wood. Dilemma!
